Assembled with hot hide glue for easy removal of the top when re-graduating. The VW-5 is our finest model and a marvel of clean precise craftsmanship. The maple of the back, sides, neck and scroll is superbly flamed. The purfling is clean and accurate. The edge channeling is exquisitely carved. The lower f-hole wings are slightly scooped in the manner of fine Italian violins. The scroll is artistically carved.
