Electric Violin Palatino's new violin breaks the price barrier for professional electric instruments. This violin features a modified piezo pickup that is internally mounted under the soundboard. Each violin's pickup is individually adjusted, in the U.S., for the best tonal response from that violin. There are no visible signs of an installed pickup, the jack is nearly invisible while playing the violin. Best of all, this pickup system does not hamper the acoustic integrity of the instrument. We offer this pickup installed on our VN-350 outfits.

The violin is then finished in a beautiful golden brown varnish. We use only South African ebony for the fittings to ensure that the fingerboard is straight and the pegs are easy to turn. It also includes a deluxe fine tuner tailpiece that allows for trouble free tuning. The violin comes with a wood hardshell case, and an ebony frog bow with Mongolian horsehair. This outfit is perfect for the serious student because it meets all EMNC specs.

The VN-900 is hand carved from only select woods. We make sure the spruce has a tight grain, essential for good tone, and we use flamed maple for the back and sides. The violin is finished with an oil varnish that gives it a look reminiscent to the french makers. The violin is strung with perlon core strings. The end result is an instrument that is sonorous and visually stimulating. The outfit includes a shaped wood hardshell case and ebony frog bow, with Mongolian horsehair.

Each violin is carefully inspected by a master craftsman before they are ready to ship, to ensure that every instrument meets the high standards that all professionals demand.
