The Mandolin Primer is an instruction book with CD designed for the beginning student who desires a step by step method of learning to play the mandolin. Many illustrations are included to make this the easiest to understand mandolin course available. All songs are written in both standard music notation and tablature, resulting in the student being able to use other instruction books upon completion of this course. The book contains not only familiar songs, but spends much time showing techniques and exercises to help establish a firm foundation and background necessary in learning to play any instrument.
