| JG-420 |
OOO Guitar Johnson's breakthrough OOO guitar is the instrument you've looked for, at a price you can afford. This guitar captures the classic parlor guitar sound, with it's brilliant and cutting tone. Because of the generous string spacing and smaller body size, it is one of the most sought guitars by fingerpickers. The great balance between treble and bass helps the sound punch through other acoustic guitars.

OOO Solid Top Built to the same specs as our JG-420, but with a solid spruce top. This guitar has more of a clean punch than the JG-420. The solid top will tend to "open up" over time and give the guitar a more mature sound. This guitar is available with an under-saddle transducer pickup with a 4-band EQ preamp. (See here.)

Songwriter Series The JG-670 series leads the way with great sound and price. We import Canadian Sitka spruce and press it into a one-half solid and one-half laminate top. This gives the guitar a rich tone, while maintaining the stability of laminate woods. We import Honduras mahogany that is finished in a rich brown color. The back is gracefully arched and is accented with a herringbone backstripe. The neck is set with a traditional dovetail joint for a stable neck angel. We use a bound rosewood fingerboard with well dresses, nickel/silver frets. In addition, we hand inlay an abalone rosette to give this guitar a striking look. Only select woods are used in the construction of this guitar. The workmanship is very clean inside and out. The quality of this guitar is a milestone for our guitar building and the price is an achievement for great sounding instruments. You wont find another guitar of quality at this low price.
